it’s time.

Midlife is no joke.

It comes with new challenges and responsibilities that can hit more deeply. It’s no wonder it can feel like the optimism and zest of the first half of life is being replaced with uncertainty, deep anxiety, depression, burnout and exhaustion, or the unsettling feeling of being lost or without real direction.

As GenXers, we’ve experienced some of it ourselves. Things seem okay on the surface, but that’s not how it feels.

You might be wondering,

“Is this it? Why does the life I’ve built not feel the way I thought it would?”

But there’s a reason for all the things you’re going through.

you’re ready for a new, healthier way of being.

The midlife experience is nudging us to proactively create new meaning and purpose for our next phase of life. But since we’ve been living by a certain set of rules and values until now, we need to look at patterns or beliefs that have been played out, aren’t working, and may need to be reevaluated.

It’s about what matters to you today,
and what you want for your future.

We like to contribute to the wider conversation about themes that commonly come up in counselling including chronic stress, self-understanding, change, and the experience of being human today.

Our writings are about what it means to be human in today’s world and how we can live meaningful, fulfilling lives.
